1. Definitions
- Lessor: Bed & Bresjes, established in Breskens
- Guest/lessee: the person who makes a reservation and/or uses the accommodation.
- Accommodation: the rooms and common areas offered by the lessor.
- Reservation: a booking confirmed by the lessor.
2. Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations, arrivals, and stays at Bed & Bresjes.
3. Reservation and confirmation
- A reservation is definitive as soon as it has been confirmed in writing (by email or booking system) by the lessor.
- The lessor reserves the right to refuse reservations without giving a reason.
4. Payment
- Payment must be made at the time of reservation.
- Any additional costs (such as tourist tax) are mentioned separately and are not included in the price per night.
- In case of non-timely payment, the reservation can be cancelled.
5. Arrival and departure
Check-in: between 15:00 and 20:00 hours
Check-out: no later than 10:00 hours
6. Stay and house rules
- The guest must comply with the house rules of the accommodation and agrees to them at the time of booking.
- Disturbance, damage or inappropriate behavior can lead to immediate termination of the stay without reimbursement.
- Smoking is only allowed in designated areas (see house rules).
- Pets are allowed with prior agreement (see house rules).
7. Liability
- The lessor is not liable for loss, theft or damage to the guest's property and personal injury unless there is intent.
- The guest is liable for any damage to the accommodation caused by him/her, fellow guests or pets.
8. Force majeure
In case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics or government measures) the lessor has the right to cancel the reservation without compensation.
9. Privacy
Personal data are used exclusively for the reservation and administration, in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation (AVG).
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions. Disputes will be submitted to a court competent to hear them.
11. Final provision
If one of the provisions is invalid, the other provisions remain in full force.
